The Nelson Family Farm Legacy
Since the 1800s, generations of the Nelson family have farmed in Nebraska. Charles and Ida Nelson pioneered the family's farming journey upon their arrival in the late 1800s. Starting in western Nebraska's Phelps County, they laid the foundation for a farming legacy. In 1918, their son, Robert Nelson, carved his own path by establishing a homestead in Lincoln County.
Today, the family business has grown to encompass land in both Lincoln and Perkins counties. Producing Certified Seed Wheat, Corn, Soybeans, and occasionally Popcorn. The farm serves Livestock Operations, Ethanol Plants, and Grain Elevators. Local farmers benefit from the Certified Seed Wheat produced on the farm.
